I am SO READY for Fall to be here.
Even though there are some who would say there is something wrong with me, I am anxiously awaiting the days of crisper air, frost, pumpkins and mums. Considering we had no real summer to speak of, I've been ready for quite some time.
We have been blessed with some really great days, with sweet moments that hallmark what life is about. Yes, it might sound sappy, but enjoying those moments helps when things are so crazy you don't know which end is up. Things are still busy with just regular life. Adjusting to Kindergarten. As of this week, adjusting to pre-school (2 half days) for the little one. Trying to figure out how to finish projects started earlier this summer, as well as start and finish projects that sorely need to be completed. If anyone is out there, I hope you're having a blessed day! I'll check in later on.

Do you mean Abbie is in preschool?! Oh my goodness, it seems like I was just reading about her birth yesterday. I cannot believe how fast your girls are growing!
I thought of you a lot this week. The grandbaby of a couple in our home group passed away recently, to the shock of his whole family. He was born with a similar thing that Abbie had, and had just been sent home after healing really well from his tummy surgery, though he did have a colostomy until some type of growth happened. But his mommy didn't show nearly the courage you showed, and it sounds like she may not have cared for him properly. It broke my heart to hear that this happened, when I knew that his story could have looked so much like Abbie's.
Anyway, I hope you are doing well.
Yeah, we put her in a little program that is 3 hours a day, 2 days a week. I'm hoping to start working from home (as soon as we have enough money to pay for my training) and I'll need a few day time hours. Plus, she's 2 now and with Hannah in Kindergarten, I felt like she needed some socialization with kids her age. It hardly seems possible she's 2 and ready for preschool, believe me! :-)
I'm so, so sorry to hear about the grandson of your home group friends. We were so blessed and fortunate with Abbie, though, considering all the things that -could- have happened. Complications from surgery can happen, and those little guys have a tough time with it. The family will be in my prayers.
I can't believe Abbie started preschool. That's amazing.
